COVID-19 Update
Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 10:46AM As this pandemic situation continues to unfold, we are finding most job sites are issuing zero-tolerance policies to workers who are showing symptoms of sickness, and will deny access for two weeks from any of their construction sites. Likewise, it is CMI's responsibility to adopt this stance in order to keep those who are still feeling healthy out of harm's way.
If you are feeling ill, or have been in close contact with anyone who is showing signs of sickness, notify any office staff, self isolate, and immediately file an EI claim. As previously mentioned, the usual waiting period when claiming EI has been waived and all claims will be processed immediately.
On the other hand, if you're not feeling sick, work will continue as usual on a site-by-site basis.
